Meet Mr Rooster: The Technology Guru

Mr Rooster brings creativity and innovation to every lesson he designs. He has a degree in Elementary Education, S.T.E.M. Certified, and  years of experience in tech support. He has taught kindergarten, first grade, and is currently the K-8 technology and S.T.E.M. teacher. He has over 9 years of teaching Technology/Computer class. Previous experience includes, yearbook coordinator, and IT Support at his schools. Mr Rooster develops his own technology curriculum focused on student-centered projects, project-based learning, STEM components, web safety, and proper typing skills. He loves to include creative lessons and projects that interest both him and his students, including drones, animation, and music creation! All of our lessons are STEM focused and can all be done online! He strives to make every lesson an exciting journey into the world of technology.

Meet Mrs Rooster: The Science Specialist

Mrs Rooster has a deep passion for Science and has a flair for graphic design! She has degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Math for secondary education. In her undergraduate studies, Mrs Rooster was a student researcher in Chemistry Education, learning about the importance of using inquiry-based instruction in the classroom. Her first teaching job was in a rural school where she was only given a textbook to teach Biology. She was also the At-Risk coordinator and in charge of all online learners. This experience made her a master of creating her own engaging differentiated lessons which she loves to share with others. Since her first job, she has also taught Advanced Biology, General Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and Personal Finance.
