It is Easter Morning and you are so excited because this is the day when you get your BIG basket filled with your favorite treats, candy and toys! You enter the room where you expect to see it and find nothing! Your basket is missing! You were sure this is where it was, but you find a note in the place where your basket was supposed to be and it reads, “I’m sorry about your basket, but I’m running behind and had to borrow your basket to carry my Easter gifts this holiday. If you have another basket, I’d be happy to trade it back with your share of Easter presents. I’ll be on the run so be sure to keep up if you need it back! -Sincerely, the Easter Bunny” You remembered that your mom had an extra basket in the basement, so you decide to grab it and head after the Easter Bunny, because it’s Easter morning and it’s time to celebrate! You open the door and head outside determined to find the Easter Bunny and get your basket back!

I’ve never done a breakout before, is this still for me?
Yes! We have included a seven-page breakdown of what makes a breakout and how to run it smoothly in your classroom especially for students who have never used them before. Once familiar, you will be able to just post the website and let them work!
What is a Breakout?
A breakout is an activity where participants work in teams to search for clues to solve puzzles and try to “breakout” of a room or break into” a room or locked container within a specific time frame.
What is a Digital Breakout?
A digital breakout has its origins from both the popular escape rooms and the hunt-and-find games. However, instead of physically unlocking a box or door, participants will enter codes varying in letters and numbers into a lock (a.k.a. Google Form) which will then only unlock when all correct codes are entered into it.
