March is Reading Month Daily Activities Calendar and Reading Logs

BRAND NEW for March is Reading Month!

Get students excited about reading for the entire month of March is Reading Month with our Daily Activities Calendar! For each day of March, the daily activities calendar gives students a fun and creative way to read each day. We included a wide range of activities to get students reading in many different ways! These activities include giving them fun places to read, different topics to read about, suggestions of people to read to, and more!

Example activities include:

• Read a joke to a friend!
• Read a book in the dark with a flashlight!
• Read a book to someone older than you!
• Play a board game and read the instructions first!
• Read the lyrics to a song and sing it!

AND to keep track of their reading all month, we included reading logs! We have three different reading logs so you can choose the log(s) that will help your student meet their individual, class, and school-wide reading goals. Each reading log has a box at the bottom for them to total their reading for the month. The three reading logs include keeping track of the number of:

• Minutes
• Books
• Pages

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• We suggest printing the Daily Activities Calendar and Letter to Families back-to-back to save paper
• All of the pages included in this product are black and white for easy printing and copying
• We purposely created this calendar with numbered activities in grid format (not as a March calendar with days of the week) so you can use the same calendar year after year without needing to reformat or re-download the calendar.
