Our word searches are perfect for last minute, easy sub plans!

We’ve all needed a last-minute sub plan! Word searches are perfect! Students know how to complete them and they are easy to prepare and provide. Just provide a sub with our teacher guide, the word search of your choice, and the answer key! The definitions on the teacher reference sheet will also be exceptionally helpful for a sub to answer student’s inevitable questions!

Word searches make perfect bell-ringers, warm-ups, centers, and early finishers activities!

If you would like to be able to reuse the word searches in centers or as early finisher activities, we suggest laminating them and having students complete the word search puzzles using whiteboard erasable markers. This will allow them to wipe their puzzles clean when they are finished and you can use them again and again!
